Meremeta Lodge is located on the outskirts of the local village Utende, just a couple of hundred metres inside the marine park entrance, on Mafia Island, Tanzania. It is only a few minutes ride, on one of Meremeta mountain bikes, to some of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the whole of Mafia.If you are looking for clean and comfortable, spacious rooms with western-style en-suites, based in a cosy tropical island feel, with a friendly local village atmosphere, then Meremeta Lodge is the place to be. Meremeta Lodge is also the hub of many local business activities.

Almost half of Mafia's coastline is part of the Mafia Island Marine Park, a park full of coral reefs, mangrove forests and lagoons.
